Our seven-day Uganda wildlife and primates safari will give you a chance to explore Africa by exploring different national parks such as Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth national park, and Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will get a chance to do activities such as boat cruises, game drives, and so on in Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National. During these activities, you will get to see several animals such as elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, and so on. Additionally, you will visit Bwindi impenetrable national park where you will get a chance to trek gorillas.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park.

Upon arrival at the airport, our guide will be waiting to pick you up and embark on your 5 to 6-hour journey to Murchison falls national park passing via the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to have a glance at the Rhinos. Proceed with your journey and have another stopover in Masindi where you will have your lunch before entering the park. Drive to the park, check in, relax, and prepare rest preparing for the next day. Dinner and overnight at Chobe.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise.

After your morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your lodging and transfer you to the park to start your morning game drive. During this activity, you will get to see several animals such as buffalo, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, birds, lions, and leopards. Drive back to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for your afternoon boat cruise where you will also get to see different animal species such as hippos, crocodiles, lions, leopards, and many others. Drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.

After enjoying your tea, your guide will pick you up and drive you to the park to have a glance at the animals you may not have seen. Get to the lodge pack up your lunch and luggage and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park located in Rukungiri, Kasese, Rubirizi, and Kamwenge. It is a great place to see tree-climbing lions and a beautiful Kazinga river. Arrive in the late evening, check-in, and have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Game drive, launch trip.

Depart from your lodging for a 3–4 hour game drive through Queen Elizabeth Safari Park to witness a variety of wildlife. On the Kasenyi route, a comprehensive game-watching circuit, visitors can expect to view species including bush elephants, lions, leopards, kobs, birds, buffaloes, warthogs, and others. Have lunch and in the afternoon head back to the lodge to get ready for an afternoon launch cruise where you’ll view more fascinating wildlife. Drive to the resort to spend the night and have dinner.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi forest national park.

Enjoy your breakfast before starting your 4- to 5-hour drive via the Ishasha region to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park together with your packed lunch. Upon arrival Check in to your lodge, have your meals, and relax preparing for the next day.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking.

Participate in a thrilling gorilla trekking adventure with bottled water, snacks, and completely covered feet in your waterproof hiking boots, and leave your luxurious safari lodge. then take part in a briefing with other guests. During your briefing, you will understand the guidelines for gorilla trekking. At 8:00 am, you can begin following a gorilla group. The trip will last between two and six hours, and you’ll have more than an hour to spend with the gorillas while snapping pictures and enjoying yourself.
Return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for your evening Batwa adventure so you may talk to these individuals and learn about what they do for a living. Return to the lodge for dinner and a night’s lodging.

Day 7: Depart.

Enjoy your breakfast in the morning before checking out to start your trip back to Kampala. You will be dropped off at the airport in time for your return journey.
